Bio: I am a husband, father of 3 kids, musician and worship leader. My blog is called Families of Influence, and it exists to provide education, prayer support and a community of friends to help strengthen today’s family.

How long have you been blogging? What motivated you to start?
I just started this year in January. I have always loved to write but never had the time to do in addition to working full-time and supporting my family. Recently, my family moved from the Chicago area to Fort Mill, SC due to some health issues I have been fighting. My wife now works full-time, and I work part-time from home. This has freed up my time to write.
What is your favorite part of blogging?
I like to interact with people and help them with the content I provide.
What is the hardest part about blogging for you?
Staying focused!

Who is your favorite blogger and why?
Seth Godin – He writes content that is profound yet practical.
What do you do for fun when you aren’t blogging?
I play, write, and teach piano, music composition, and music theory.

Tell us one fun fact about yourself.
When I was little, I wanted to grow up to be a weatherman.
What did you do before you began blogging? What skills do you have?
I have been a full-time worship leader for the last 20 years. I play keys, guitar, trumpet, I sing, and I write music.
Have you been published anywhere else either online or in print?
Over the years, I have written articles for church publications.
What do you hope to achieve with your blog and online presence?
I desire that I will be able to help families grow stronger through education, prayer support and a community of friends.
